SAVED    -   WHAT’S LOST ?

WHY DID JESUS COME ?

PREFACE:

There are many believers who would shout out with great gusto “ I am saved” in the context of Eternal Life.

However do they know what they have been saved from in the course of them ?

“Being saved” ,   by whom and at what price ?

In the understanding of the ongoing faith in God our Father to be able to shout,

“I am saved” must mean knowledge of what I have been and have not been saved from and what has been lost and what is not being lost.

This knowledge has been made very complex due to the simplicity of believing how it is that we can be saved - ‘just believe in Jesus and I know I have Eternal Life’ and I’ve got my bags packed waiting for him to return as he promised.

One may remember the Peanuts character of the dog Snoopy along with Charlie Brown.

One sees Snoopy lying on the top of his kennel, looking up at a big Notice that says, “Christ is the Answer.”  After reading this he asks.   What is the question?”

And so “saved” should trigger:   “what’s lost?    Who’s lost?”

What’s lost asks,  what is and can be lost.

Who’s lost asks,   who is lost?       This is the question.

SAVED  -  WHAT’S LOST?

WHY DID JESUS COME?

Jesus came to warn mankind of Eternal Judgements, in order that we are saved from them.

For man TO KNOW Salvation by faith in Jesus Christ as Lamb of God, Baptiser with Holy Spirit and Fire, and as a Son of God, co–heir with Christ to do the will of God His Father.

Consider what the word salvation means.

The word salvation means the need to be saved from something, to be delivered from the clutches of something from which there appears in the natural to be No Escape from its bondage.

Jesus revealed these somethings.

He revealed these things because man in his lost state is blind to his condition and the eternal state one will remain in UNLESS SAVED.

He revealed what we must be saved from.

FROM:

Perishing for eternity                                      John 3: 14-21

The Lake of Fire                                               Revelation 20: 11-15

Condemnation                                                 Mark 16: 9-20

Not seeing / entering the Kingdom of God          John 3: 3-8

The Fiery Furnace                                            Matthew 13: 37-50

Outer Darkness                                               Matthew 25: 28-30    22: 11-13    24:51

From being cast away from Jesus because of not doing His God and Father’s will.  Matthew 7: 21-23    22: 14

Not to be recognized by Jesus at the time of Judgement because of denying a relationship to Jesus.  These hold judgements.

Matthew 16: 24-28    Matthew 10: 20-42

Not being prepared with knowledge as to the days and signs as to the coming of Christ, which is the requirement of those who would hope to sit at the final feast of The Lamb.  To be saved from fear of these horrendous events that will come upon the earth.

We must be prepared not to have the “door shut” in our faces as God did in the days of Noah to those who would be saved from the flood.  We must not be unprepared by NOT gaining entrance through the works of Salvation engineered by God and Christ by Not continuing in the power of His Spirit and doing of His Will.

Matthew 22: 1-2 & 8-14    Matt. Chap. 25    Matt. 24: 12-13    Revelation 19: 9

To be saved from a place with the Hypocrites who are pretentious and who because of Ignorance and Speculations and Religiosity they flounder in the knowledge of God which they spread abroad and make the hearers to be as bad as they are, and will spend Eternity in Outer Darkness gnashing their teeth.

Matthew Chap 23    Matthew 24: 22-31    Romans 10: 1-18    Matthew 16: 5-12    Matthew 12: 33-37    Jude 1 -10** & 19**

Throughout the Gospels we see the agreement of Jesus’ words that warn us of Eternal Places from which there would be no escape because a man will only be there at the decision of God, Christ and the angels.

This will be given with great justice, because man himself has ignored Jesus’ Words in relation to salvation and how to be saved and from what.  This is why many are called or invited but few will be chosen to inherit Eternal Life.

Believers hear again and again what good and beautiful things God has for them; like the carrot in front of the nose of the donkey, but very little warning is preached.  Warning is seen as negative, and why not when many believe, “ I have been to the Cross, I am saved.”

The words of Jesus in the Gospels are warnings that relate to all mankind, not only to those of the world but for those who would believe in their way of coming to God the Father through Jesus Christ.  But not The Way which Jesus is, and whose work will give ‘exits and Entrances’ in coming to The Father.

John 14: 6    Ezekiel 44: 10-14

The Lake of Fire relates to those who never believed.   Revelation 20: 15

The Fiery Furnace relates to those who believe, but fail to go on to fulfil God’s Will in regards to the Words of Jesus, which are from God and are the Foundation of what to do and not to do, and not to be and to be

John 12: 44-50

Matthew 13: 37-42    Matthew 13: 47-50    Colossians 1: 27  &  Colossians 1: 28

Romans 8: 10  &  Romans 8: 11   are verses that relate to the PROGRESS OF SALVATION from the world, to the knowledge and presence of God the Father: a progress which the believer must know to do in order to know Full Salvation and to do God’s Will, which is the Criteria of Eternal life.

WARNING:  Not to do God’s will create Spiritual Thorns and Briers, which will have to be burnt.

The believer who comes in faith to Jesus and denies his work of Baptism with

Holy Spirit is denying God’s election of Christ and Jesus’ words of warning and his commands.

Acts 2: 31-36    Mark 16: 13-18    Acts 1: 4-5    John 3: 3-8    Matthew 13: 37-42

The believer who does believe to be baptised with Holy Spirit and does not trust in God the Father for all that He is as God alone will grow thorns and briers.

The believer has been brought to God the Father through the Baptism and Jesus’ Words to those who are baptised  ‘they are to ask God the Father for all things’

The Father in all His Fullness is to be our Healer, Deliverer, Provider and Protector with His belt of Truth and the whole armour of God.

To deny God’s Works to us will create thorns and briers, which will have to be burnt.    Hebrews 6: 1-8***

John 16: 23-28    Ephesians 3: 14-19    Ephesians 6: 10-18    Hebrews 6: 1-12

1 Corinthians 8: 6    Matthew 13: 47-50

E.g. The Father is Jehovah Jireh, our provider.  Those who are baptised with Holy Spirit must consider the warning in regard to Mammon in relation to one’s security and status, because to ignore His Will and way in these matters thorns and briers will grow.

No matter how joyously one received God’s news of salvation and is considered the good seed, the lack of full dependence on God the Father will produce thorns and briers which will do a work of REVERSING because of denying what is God’s will for those called Sons of God co-heirs with Christ.  Matthew 13: 23 reverses to 22.

It is God’s Work by His Spirit in and through us as we ask what is essential for Salvation and Victory from what is called our old man, and to bind in our bodies elements of destruction in order to know His healing work as Jehovah Rapha.  All this is for our good and His praise.  Romans 8: 11    Ephesians 4: 5-6

An interesting note is that Israel under God’s Laws and Covenant received goodness from God, as they were obedient to His Laws and Covenant.  They were not called to ask, God blessed as He saw.   But for us in our obedience to God’s Will, it is TO ASK and to expect to receive that which we asked for in relation to healing, deliverance because we are in the Spirit of God the Father whose Spirit is in, through and over all those ‘In Christ’.

NOT asking is presumption.  A believer’s heart full of Faith in all that God is, will personally ask, because Jesus said of those Baptised: they are to ask of the Father

This is His Will; and to ask NOT is to produce thorns and briers.

John 16: 23-28

Eternal places created by God are for those who would deny His existence, His authority, power and name.  Those who have resisted His Holiness and by doing this denied their sinfulness and therefore saw no reason to concern themselves with a message of God through his Son as the means of being saved from perishing.

Mankind being created by God, in whom God left “the image of God” – will never pass out\from existence and the awareness of where they are.

Genesis 9: 5-6

The many who believe that when one physically dies that they will go into nothingness, is a vain hope.

They will know then what God has decreed.  Those who by their continual denying of Him never had their names written in the Book of Life will be cast into The Lake of Fire to be eternally aware of where they are and shall not know any fellowship with those in this place.

This place will be full, but each one will be so lonely with reactions befitting those who would be resentful as to where they are which will be an eternal clarification of the facts.

Revelation 20: 15    Romans 5: 12-17    Revelation 17: 8-9

The places described in The Word of God where Angels who rebelled with Satan against God, speak of “chains”.  Jude 1: 6 they had been angels who perished.

The place described in The Word of God where those who mocked Noah and died in The Flood are clear messages to all.   1 Peter 3: 18-19

These messages are what Christians should be telling the world about because that is why man needs to be saved:  to be saved from eternal places that speak horror, isolation and pain.

These are the reminders to Christians that no matter what Spiritual work has been achieved, disobedience shall know Christ and God’s justice

Hebrews 10: 15-39   “It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the Living God” and Hebrews 6: 4-12 those who continue in Sin are in danger of being burnt.

As Jesus said he did not come to bring peace, but a sword.  The sword of God’s word that man is to take to save man from perishing.

In order to be saved in this life by faith in God’s means and way of Salvation,

One must repent towards God and have faith in Jesus Christ.  It is a Progressive Walk involving a deep spiritual work that is to be done by God and Christ for a believer to know salvation and deliverance from the judgement of the Lake of Fire from the Death Realm itself and to be spiritually circumcised of The Body of Sin.

Acts 20: 21    John 14: 6    John 1: 29-33    Galatians 3: 22    Ezekiel 41: 10-12

Romans 6: 3-14    Colossians 2: 9-13    Romans 6: 6    Romans 8: 10

GOD BY HIS SON WARNS MANKIND OF HORRENDOUS ETERNAL JUDGEMENTS BUT GIVES THE WAY TO BE SAVED FROM THEM.

How many of the Pharisees whom Jesus called hypocrites – under the judgement of eternal weeping and gnashing of teeth – repented and heeded his message?  Matthew Chap.23

How many heeded John the Baptist’s message and saw the fulfilment of their hearts and minds in the coming of the Messiah.  To recognize him as “the voice”

Preparing the Way.

John 1: 24    John 3: 1-20

Today in what the world recognizes as THE CHRISTIAN CHURCH, there are many ways that have been formulated as The Way of Salvation.

But there is however only One Way and that is a personal Repentance towards God and faith in Jesus Christ according to the Words and work given by God for Jesus to say and to do in the Gospels of Matthew Mark Luke and John.

John 14: 6    John 12: 44-50    Acts 20: 21    Galatians 3: 22

Many will believe that they are saved, and all is well because of the work done as an infant and their faith confirmed later on.  Many others who have had this experience are not sure or convinced as they walk only in the confidence of the church more so than the work of Jesus.   If they are in doubt, so they should be.

Also many will say I am saved, I have eternal life.  I trust so, not guess so or hope so but I know I am saved’.

Why?  Because I believed Jesus died on the cross for my sin.  I responded in faith.  I have my sin forgiven – I am saved.

Yes, but from what?  Do you truly know all that you are to be saved from?

We know by the believer initially coming to the cross and by this act of faith they have been saved from the judgement of being a son of Adam and under that curse, which is The Lake of Fire.

We know that Past sins have been forgiven, but not all sin.  This believer is still in the Death Realm bound by the Body of Sin even though Christ’s Spirit has made the believer’s spirit alive.  They are delivered and saved from the Dominion of the Darkness of the Death Realm.  God the Father places the believer into The Spiritual Kingdom of Christ, which is held in the Courts of God’s Spiritual Temple.

John 1: 29    Romans 3: 25    Rom. 8: 10    Rom. 3: 25 NOT Colossians 2: 13

Colossians 1: 13-14    Matthew 13: 37-42    Ezekiel Chap. 40

God’s plan of salvation is not yet complete for the believer at this time.

This is why Jesus said that those who believe to be baptised with Holy Spirit would be saved and those who do NOT believe to be baptised will be condemned – not saved because they are rejecting the promised Spirit of God.

Mark 16: 13-18    Galatians 3: 14    Acts 1: 4-5

The believer needs to pass from Death to Life to be Born Again, to be a New Creation, to have all sins forgiven, to be given one’s own righteousness from God, under no condemnation from God but to have the praise of God and to be “In Christ”, where all those baptised by Christ, are baptised into by God.

1 Corinthians 12: 13-18    Romans 8: 1-2    Philippians 3: 7-9

To be saved the believer must be circumcised of the Body of Sin and raised out of Death by God the Father Himself.

This is by an Instantaneous Spiritual Process so described in Romans 6: 3-14    Colossians 2: 9-13    Galatians 2: 20    Romans 2:29

Only then when this spiritual work has been accomplished by asking Christ to baptise with Holy Spirit is the believer raised by God and are saved from the Death Realm, Christ will baptise with Holy Spirit.  This is the promise of God – God’s Spirit that makes our mortal bodies alive.    Romans 8: 11

This baptism will have signs accompanying it but most importantly are God the Father’s Words spoken through the believer, in the spiritual language when baptised saying  “Jesus is Lord”  This is the confirmation of the Baptism and their salvation and deliverance from the Death Realm having been raised by God Himself, and being planted and Baptised by God Himself into the Body of Christ.

John 15: 26    1 Corinthians 12:3    Romans 10: 9    Philippians 2: 5-11

Matthew 15: 13     1 Corinthians 12: 13-18

THE BELIEVER HAS BEEN SAVED, freed and delivered from the Body of Sin and Baptised into The Body of Christ where all in it are said to be In Christ, where God the Father’s Spirit is over all, in all, and through all where Christ is The Head, the firstborn of all who are seen as Sons of God, co-heirs with Christ.  All sin has been forgiven and the believer who is now “In Christ” has been given entrance into the Kingdom of Heaven, which is held in the Sanctuaries of God’s Spiritual Temple.

1 Corinthians 12: 13-18    Ephesians 4: 5-6    Colossians 1: 27-28    Romans 8: 10-11

Colossians 2: 13    Matthew 13: 47-50    Ezekiel Chaps 41-43    Ephesians 2: 18-22

Many will say “Good!  All that achieved; then I am saved.  I have Eternal Life.”

NO, while you have been saved from THE LAKE OF FIRE, THE DEATH REALM, THE BODY OF SIN, THE PENALTY OF SIN, PAST and ALL SINS;

God requires the believer to grow in righteousness, discerning good and evil, and by the power of His Spirit to be continual Over-comers, keeping cleansed from all impurity, for which there are promises.  To be part of the manifold wisdom of God to principalities and rulers that God be praised.

They are to ask of the Father all things - John 16: 23.  This word which was given by Jesus to those who are baptised, but to disobey is to deny God and the doing of His will, we are to do as Jesus did, in order for all things to work together for good.   Romans 8: 28

To do God’s Will, is to fulfil by faith God’s plan and purposes in the individual’s everyday life and their anointing in ministry in the Body of Christ according to one’s anointing of Spiritual Gifts having no separation from one’s everyday life and ministry but a continual flow seen to praise God.

This is essential to inherit Eternal Life by doing the Father’s will.

THAT IS BEING SAVED.

1 John 1:7-10    Hebrews 10: 29-37    Hebrews 10: 18    Hebrews 5: 13-14

Revelation 2: 7/11/17/26-29    Revelation 3: 5/11-12/21    Romans 8: 28

Romans Chap. 12    Matthew Chap. 25    Matthew 7: 21-23    Ephesians 3: 14-19

If this is NOT ACCOMPLISHED then no matter what else has been spiritually realized there still remains an Eternal Judgement.

Those who believe in Jesus and have their name written in the Book of Life but fail to know his work as Baptiser with Holy Spirit, shall be judged by angels: their names blotted out of The Book of Life.  They will not know the promise of Christ to the church  “I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God.”

Revelation 3: 11-12    Matthew 13: 37-42    Revelation 3: 15    Mark 16: 13-18

Those who believe and are baptised with Holy Spirit and accounted to being Sons of God, co-heirs with Christ, if they fail to know The Father as God alone and do His Will according to His Word to them, they will be judged by Christ himself and told by him, “I never knew you.  Away from me - you evil doers.”

The judgements will be, The Fiery Furnace or cast into Outer Darkness.

Matthew 13: 47-50    Matthew 7: 21-23    Ezekiel 44: 10-14    Isaiah 22: 20-25

Those who know The Father as God alone and do His will with faith in Jesus as the Son of God and know God’s fullness will inherit Eternal Life.

They will serve with Christ for 1000 years as he reigns in a dispensation that shall have its own God determined criteria of inheriting and of being saved.  When all judgements are carried out on individuals, angels and nations: then those saved shall enter the ETERNAL KINGDOM OF GOD, to enjoy with God and Christ and their angels with the confidence THEY ARE SAVED.

Ephesians 3: 14-19    Revelation Chaps. 21, 22

SAVED TO PRAISE GOD.

BEWARE OF DENIAL OF GOD OR CHRIST:

Why is the Baptism essential to being saved?  Apart from all that has been written regarding the Spiritual work God and Christ will do to save us which is crucial for salvation, it is the obedience to be Baptised that is the evidence OF OBEDIENCE AND BELIEF IN JESUS CHRIST AS BAPTIZER WITH HOLY SPIRIT AND OF GOD’S APPOINTMENT AND ANNOINTING OF CHRIST TO DO THIS WORK.  It is the evidence of OBEDIENCE TO CHRIST’S COMMANDS TO BE BAPTISED which is the evidence of loving him and obeying him BY ASKING HIM TO BAPTISE WITH HOLY SPIRIT.

THIS WORK DID NOT HAPPEN AT THE CROSS - BUT THROUGH IT.

Mark 16: 15-16    Acts 1: 4-5   John 7: 37-39    John 14: 13-17    Acts 2: 31-36

Why the Baptism is important because He promised it to those who had the same Faith and Trust in Him as Abraham.  This was necessary to identify those who would believe for Him to dwell in them in order for Him to do the greater things Jesus said of those who would believe.

To deny The Baptism is to deny God Himself, His Word and His plan of Salvation.  Galatians 3: 14    Acts 2: 1-21    John 14: 11-14

Some may believe it is an option to be a partaker of the entireness of what God the Father is.  It is NOT an option but a command that is involved and a great part of what is God’s Will for those called Sons of God, co-heirs with Christ who if they believe that it is an option are declaring their independence from God and not fulfilling what is God’s will that we are to be the Praise of God as we glorify all that He is, and be saved.

Matthew 7: 21-23    2 Corinthians 2: 14-16    Ephesians 4: 5-6

FINALLY:

While Jesus spoke of places of horror, it was to all mankind who would deny his God and Father their obedience.  He, according to God’s Plan of Justice made it very clear to mankind their options.   That they would have a strong desire to escape such places but also would be in awe that God had gone to so much trouble to warn mankind then and of future generations of such certainties.

John 14: 1-3   Finally to his disciples Jesus made it very clear that there are lovely places in the Spiritual Realm, where men spiritually can go.  To these believing men he encouraged them saying “Trust in God, believe also in me.”

This was also the Good News not only to the disciples but also for the believers in the generations to come.  He said, “In my Father’s house are many rooms.  I am going there to prepare a place for you, that you may be where I am.”   And he did.

Places to accommodate believers until the fullness of God’s Time and works when all of those who trusted in God, doing His Will, will enter the Eternal Kingdom of God.

Colossians 1: 15-18   these places that Jesus was to prepare were for himself because of his headship over all who would believe.  These places confirm God’s Plan of a Progressive being saved, by Exits and Entrances in the progress of coming to Himself through His Son IN THIS LIFE.

Ezekiel 41: 5  &  43: 10-12     Ephesians 2: 18-22

It is the Kingdom of Christ into which those coming to the cross from the world are placed by God.  Colossians 1: 13-14    Matthew 13: 37-42.   This kingdom is held in the Courts of God’s Spiritual Temple.

Then there is The Kingdom of Heaven into which entrance is gained when baptised with Holy Spirit because of deliverance and Salvation from the Death Realm and the Body of Sin.  This is held in the Sanctuary of God’s Spiritual Temple, and it is of this Spiritual Temple that Christ is The Corner Stone and the Old Testament Holy Ones are the Foundation.   Matthew 13: 47-50    Ephesians 2: 18-22    Matthew 15: 13

These Kingdoms shall be handed back by Christ at the very end.

1 Corinthians 15: 24-28 ***

Here we see ALL THE PLACES created by Christ for himself and all are roomed in God’s Spiritual Temple in the Heavenlies, fulfilling John 14: 1-3

It is God’s plan, by Christ, to fill the universe with all that are His.     Ephesians 4: 10

God’s plan will be fulfilled and while it may seem slow in its unfolding or folding up, whatever, it shall come to pass.   While He housed the Old Testament era Holy Ones, in Paradise, and the unbelievers in Hades He has taken His faithful Holy Ones from Paradise into Heaven, which had been closed.  They were raised at Jesus’ death and on his return to Heaven they went with him to become the Foundation of God’s Temple.  They are still in waiting until with all those In Christ whom Christ judges to inherit Eternal Life, they will return with Christ and put down the ungodly and reign with Christ for a thousand years.  Finally Satan and the ungodly will know entrance into the Eternal Lake of Fire while those of the Kingdom of Christ shall be judged with justice by Christ’s Angels and God.

It is all coming to pass: God’s Word shall stand.

John 3: 13    Matthew 27: 51-53    Ephesians 4: 7-8    Hebrews 9: 24

Ephesians 2: 18-22    1 Peter 2: 4-8 **    2 Corinthians 5: 10    1 Thessalonians 4: 16

Jude 1: 14-16    Revelation 19: 11-21   20: 4-6   20:11-12     Matthew 13: 40-42

THOSE WHO ENDURE TO THE END SHALL BE SAVED.
