THE  FAT

PREFACE:

The Western Society we live in, we would all agree, is one of extremes in regard to Fat.  There is the problem of obesity, too much fat, and then as if to correct this problem many have gone to the other extreme resulting in anorexic situations, with NO FAT.

When we read  in God’s Word, and see His words “All Fat is mine,” it should create a question to those who care what God says, as to know what was God‘s reason for saying this, considering that God is in the spiritual and we are in the physical.

I used to laugh and guessed that God loved barbeques because that is when fat is very nice to eat and smells so good especially with onions.  Upon consideration I guess He would not want the onions or even its smell.

ALL FAT, NO ADDITIVES, IS MINE SAYSTHE LORD GOD.

I do see the error of my foolishness, in which I was not amused so much at God’s words ‘ALL FAT IS MINE’ but what one could concoct and assume by these words.

What can be assumed from God’s words?   NOTHING!   It will take some study we think in order to understand.

We know that all Fat was to be burned and to smell good.  There was to be smoke to rise up.

What does the Father mean by this?

We can see that all of this called for PRECISE ORDER, God’s ORDER, to obey His order for this to happen.

Does this apply to us as Christian believers today?  How could it because we do not sacrifice animals and so many will assume that this is only Old Testament stuff and no longer applies to us of the New Testament dispensation, and so why bother to know God’s reason for claiming all Fat as His.

But we must question because God balanced this command with a penalty for disobedience.  Are we to give God His Fat, whatever it may be.  But wait on, Jesus was our sacrifice: and so all is well.  But is it really?

???????????????????????????????????????

LET’S  CONSIDER to know  :-

WHAT IS TO BE KNOWN OF THE FAT and how God set up  the sacrifices which supplied the Fat of which God said was to be all His.   Leviticus 3: 16

“All the fat is Mine.”

The study of the sacrifices might appear tedious, but God’s emphatic preference of Fat should cause us to consider what is the serious reason for God to declare, “All fat is mine,” because this is not said in isolation but was a part of God’s orderly, concise stipulations and regulations of sacrifice which were sealed with a judgment  for disobedience.

His claim of the Fat is not to be seen as some selfish ‘gutsy’ want.  The question is, what is our Fat and how do we give it?

We do know that we must obey God and come to Him in His way and His stipulations and so it would appear that stipulations and regulations of sacrifice are a good place to start to get to know, why is The Fat so important to God and does it apply to Christians today?

Leviticus 7: 25

THE STIPULATIONS AND REGULATIONS ARE GOD’S LAW AND ARE CLEARLY SET OUT FOR US IN LEVITICUS  CHAP. 1-7

THE STIPULATIONS: are to state, to be part of one’s terms, the thing to be done, this only NOTHING FURTHER : to insist upon as ESSENTIAL.  A demand stated as a condition of consent to or validity of an agreement.

THE REGULATIONS:  are regulating or being regulated, prescribed Rule according to, of correct pattern.

Their meanings alone could be intimidating as there is no suggestion of comfort, but of Rule and Order.

It is suggested that Leviticus Chapters 1-7 are read in order to understand God’s perfect orders in regard to the animal sacrifices, whether for sin, guilt, fellowship, burnt offering.

Each sacrifice was named and was for a particular need and only covered only that which was indicated by the varying regulations and stipulations.

Instructions were given of the required place of sacrifice, where the blood was to be put and how, whether by sprinkling or pouring, which ordered whether it could be eaten or not, and if so where it was to be eaten.  What was to happen to the animal in order to sacrifice and how to present it and  its disposal of any animal part that was not used for sacrifice. Instructions were given concerning the altar, the fire and its burning and the arrangement of the wood and any specific work for any specific sacrifice.  Some Fat was remembered, to be waived and then burnt, or to just be burnt, depending upon the sacrifice and what it was for.  These were very precise instructions which varied according to the sacrifice.

It is the fellowship offering that presents the Fat before it is burnt.  It is waived before the Lord with the breast of the sacrifice.  Together they are presented for fellowship.  This is unique and its requirements and regulations can order the believer today to observe this fact that the Fat speaks Fellowship.

Instructions stated orders of what clothes the priests were to wear and to whom the sacrifice belonged after its sacrifice, which depended upon where the blood was taken.  The utensils had to be specially cleaned.  What was to be done with the Fat was a serious part of the sacrifices.

All of this can not be dismissed as irrelevant, however much we may believe so because it is not just to come and know Jesus, say a few words of belief and that one is born again, any more than one of Israel would just turn up with a sacrifice and kill it, indiscriminately.  One may say this is all very interesting but why relate all of this to how we may come to Jesus? Because the work that was accomplished according TO ORDER, to please God, was carried out on the cross.  Because  Jesus died as a Guilt Offering and as a Sin Offering.

Because Jesus was these named sacrifices THEREFORE THEIR WORK ACCORDING TO THE REGULATIONS AND STIPULATIONS apply to us today, in order to be a participator in God’s New Covenant promises.

This is essential to understand that God’s  order for any believer in coming to know Him are as the stipulations and regulations specify of the particular sacrifice.  For us the guilt offering and the sin offering, both contain the order to give God the Fat and so this does apply to us.

Isaiah 53:10    Romans 8: 3    Ezekiel 44: 5    43:10-12    Matthew 13: 37-42    Matt. 13: 47-50

Leviticus  3     Leviticus 1: 7-8  &   4 :19      Hebrews 8: 8-13   &  10: 14-18

THE EXITS AND ENTRANCES  ARE GOD’S ETERNAL  BOUNDARIES AND LIMITATIONS TO MANKIND, which have been established by the stipulations and the regulations of the sacrifice, of the guilt offering and the sin offering , which Jesus was.

Therefore this relates to the work of the cross where we can see GOD’S STATEMENT ON LIFE AND DEATH and OF TWO KINGDOMS, which were physically set in place in The Tabernacle and has been spiritually fulfilled in Ezekiel’s Spiritual Temple which believers are in today.

The S and R of the sacrifices in the Tabernacle dictated boundaries, exits and entrances, by where the blood of the sacrifice was ordered to be taken.

The measurements of the Spiritual Temple were given to ensure emphatically the Temple exits and entrances into God’s presence, which are progressive and not just ‘one jump and a leap of faith’ as many would believe today, in coming to God.  Many will find this hard to appreciate simply because they are not understanding God’s order of coming to Himself through Christ, in the light of what sacrifice Jesus represented.

Leviticus Chaps 1-7    Ezekiel 43 : 10-12    Ezekiel 44:5    Matthew 13: 37-42  &  13: 47-50

OUTSIDE IN THE COURTYARD  -  THIS REVEALED SEPARATION FROM GOD’S KINGDOM  AND THE MEANS OF GAINING ENTRANCE INTO HIS KINGDOM BY THE WORK OF THE ALTAR OF BURNT OFFERING AND THE LAVER . – Blood and Water.

OUTSIDE OF THE COURTYARD    =   Outside the Enclosures – the world: other than Israel.

THE BOUNDARIES AND LIMITATIONS, THE EXITS AND ENTRANCES TODAY

IN EZEKIEL’S  SPIRITUAL TEMPLE WHICH RELATES TO THOSE SINCE THE CROSS.

THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN      =     THE SANCTUARIES OF THE TEMPLE HOLD THOSE
WHO ARE ‘IN CHRIST.’   1 Corinthians 12: 13-18

BAPTIZED WITH HOLY SPIRIT.

CHRIST’S KINGDOM              =      IN THE COURTS OF THE TEMPLE, ARE THOSE
                                                          WHO ARE UNBAPTIZED.

Where the altar of burnt offering stands, it is to do the work of  Sin Offering
- its blood and that of Fire to give entrance into the Kingdom of Heaven.  Matt. 3: 11-12

OUTSIDE OF EITHER              =     THE WORLD:   NO EXCEPTIONS.

THE BURNT FAT OF THE OLD TESTAMENT SACRIFICES WAS TO CREATE SMOKE WHICH CONFIRMED GOD’S LAWS OF SACRIFICE, AND MAN’S FAITH.

       WE WONDER:

Did the Israelites wonder about God’s Law concerning the Fat?

What did the smoke mean to the Israelites, who became used to seeing it continually rising up and upwards day and night.  Perhaps the call of repentance from sin and the call to sacrifice in the path of righteousness with the fear of judgment.  Because they had seen God’s judgments upon those who had disobeyed His Word.   Numbers Chap.10  Aaron’s sons, Joshua Chap.7  Achan’s disobedience.  Does the church need to have fear of judgment because of being neglectful of being in awe of  God’s ordinances,  in connection to the sacrifices we have trusted in.  Because in coming to God through Jesus as the Guilt Offering and Sin Offering that concerns the Fat which God said must be given to Him and the smoke to give a ‘sweet aroma’.

Leviticus 3: 16      Romans 8:3      Isaiah 53: 10      Leviticus 7: 25

GOD’S SIGNS OF AGREEMENT :

The smoke was to be the evidence of a sacrifice whose Fat had been given to God, manifesting obedience that the Fat was fired and as a result there was smoke that smelt good.

NO FAT, NO SMOKE, MEANT DISOBEDIENCE TO GOD WITH NO AGREEMENT.

The Fat was to make smoke to give that sign of agreement with God.

The significance of the smoke and its message of God and man’s agreement has been neglected to be  -  Translated into the New Testament translations, being at variance with the Hebrew Scriptures which emphasize this important work of the Fat which was to be seen as smoke and to give an aroma.  We see the same neglect of the work of Christ as Baptizer with Holy Spirit because of varying opinions as to the reason of its purpose.

The lack of  the witness of the smoke and of its aroma was seen as disobedience to God’s Law and Order in His Way of coming to Himself then.

In the New Testament dispensation it is the baptism with Holy Spirit which manifests agreement on the part of all concerned : God, Christ and man.  Our agreement with an OPINION  being a belief based on grounds SHORT OF PROOF, that is our Faith.

NO BAPTISM WITH HOLY SPIRIT [NO SMOKE] HAS NO AGREEMENT BY THE FATHER SAYING ‘JESUS IS LORD.’ BUT ONLY CONDEMNATION   Mark 16: 14-18  or  Romans 8: 1

WE ARE TO AGREE AND TO HAVE AN OPINION.

WE ARE TO BELIEVE AND TO AGREE WITH GOD.

JESUS         WAS GOD’S OFFERING FOR MAN.  He was a Guilt and a Sin Offering.

JESUS         WAS GOD’S PRIEST AND LAMB.    John 1: 29

JESUS         SACRIFICE WAS EXACTLY CARRIED OUT ACCORDING TO THE REGULATIONS OF GOD.

MAN            IS TO ACCEPT THE SACRIFICE MADE FOR HIM SO THAT HE BE REDEEMED.           1 John 3: 8

MAN            IS TO ACCEPT THAT THE BLOOD WAS SHED ON HIS BEHALF:

FIRST THE GUILT OFFERING, Isaiah 53: 10  THEN THE SIN OFFERING.

Acts 1: 4-5     Acts 2: 31-36     Matthew 3: 11-12     Mark 16: 14-18

THE BELIEVER IN FULL AGREEMENT IS TO PRESENT HIMSELF TO BE  BAPTIZED WITH HOLY SPIRIT BECAUSE THE BELIEVER MUST HAVE  THE BODY OF SIN DEALT WITH AND DELIVERED OUT OF THE DEATH REALM BY       THE WORK OF THE INSTANTANEOUS SPIRITUAL PROCESS AND PLACED IN LIFE BEFORE RECEIVING GOD’S CONSENSUS BY BEING BAPTIZED IN HOLY SPIRIT AND PLACED IN CHRIST AND BE ABLE TO SAY

THE BELIEVER IS FORGIVEN ALL SIN AND BECOMES A SON OF GOD

CO-HEIR WITH CHRIST.  HE IS SEALED BY GOD AND GIVEN HIS OWN

The smoke of the sacrifice of the Tabernacle was a consensus meaning  an agreement of opinion by ALL CONCERNED that is with God and man.

Jesus consensus with the Father was to agree on his part in God’s plan FOR MANKIND.

It was Jesus’ words to the Father in the Garden of Gethsemane that revealed his total agreement when he said, “Your will not mine.”  Jesus trusted His Father to raise him up and restore him into God’s presence with the same Glory he had with His Father before the world began, not fully realizing the glory to which he was to be exalted.

John 17: 5 & 24     Acts 2: 31-36

God’s consensus with Jesus as the Son of Man was: “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased, hear him.”  He raised Jesus from out of Death and exalted him to Christ and Lord.

Acts 2:31-36     Ephesians 1: 19-23

FROM THE CROSS GOD’S AGREEMENTS:

Man’s consensus with God is to repent and accept His Son and his full work given by God to do.

It was Jesus’ full consensus with His Father that, as our priest he fulfilled faithfully his part in the carrying out of the sacrifices for man’s redemption.  He continues faithfully to be our High  Priest because of His Father’s appointment because of their continual consensus of agreement.

N.B.  When any man of the Old Testament had confrontation with The Angel of the Lord it was likened to be dealing with God Himself.

Not that the Angel of the Lord WAS GOD but so perfect was he as God’s chief messenger, that whatever errand between man and God was to be undertaken for God, he was the exact representation.  There was no varying of mind or purpose but of a complete oneness of agreement with God, whatever the circumstances.

Jesus fulfilled his role as The Son of Man in the same way.  If he had not done so the work of redemption for mankind would have been ineffective and we would never have been able to come to full consensus with God as we have through Christ who worked, and still works in full agreement  with his God and Father.

This is why man who would repent and desire to be righteous are to commit themselves to God by obeying Jesus’ commands for Baptism because Jesus said, as God would have him say “If you love me and obey my commandment then you shall receive the Spirit of Truth”, which is one of God’s seven spirits.

By water Baptism man displays his agreement with God that he is a sinner.

By Spirit Baptism God displays His agreement with man, and Jesus’s work in all of this, by declaring “Jesus is Lord.”

Total consensus comes together for Jesus and the Father as they both wait for man’s repentance and commitment which is man’s consensus with them which is SIMPLY TO ASK OF THEM.

Man’s consensus with Jesus was to love him and to obey his commandments and believe in God’s given Order of the Instantaneous Spiritual Process, because until this is done, the believer cannot be baptized with Holy Spirit by Christ and know God’s agreement.

The Baptism with Holy Spirit is God’s Consensus.  At the moment of Baptism, the shortness of proof for man is diminished by THE REALITY OF GOD HIMSELF TESTIFYING HIS AGREEMENT BY DECLARING  ‘JESUS IS LORD’  AS JESUS SAID HIS FATHER WOULD.

Genesis 22: 16    Genesis 31: 11    Exodus 3: 2-4    Job 16: 20-21    John 16: 13-15

John 14: 13-17    John 16: 23-28    John 3: 16    John 1: 29-33    Acts 2: 31-36    Acts 20: 21    John 14: 13-23    Colossians1: 23    Mark 16: 14-18    Romans 6: 3-14    Colossians2: 9-13    Galatians 2: 20    Romans 2: 29    Matthew 15: 13    1 Corinthians 12: 3    John 15: 26

We are seeing that the church’s opinion is generally not based on agreement with God the Father’s Written Word.  The ‘fractured rudiments’ of God’s basic agreements has been made rudimentary. i.e.   Ineffective.  The Agreement  that one by coming to the cross, can say that they are Born Again at that moment, and any agreement that a child without any belief, can be said to be ‘In the Body of Christ’ are false agreements.  These opinions have been created by men bent on assuming opinions and are not God’s Consensus which are based on God’s Regulations and Stipulations which dictate the terms of exits and the entrances in coming to Himself, with Jesus as The Way to God, giving us access to Him.

At the cross God gave the sacrifice and gave the offer of Eternal Life.    John 3:16

To obtain Baptism with Holy Spirit man is to give himself as a sacrifice to be in perfect agreement with God.

Galatians 2: 20      Romans 6: 3- 14     Colossians 2: 9-13

God has plenty of proof of mankind, of the evil they are capable of.   However He is subject to an opinion on every individual until proof is revealed.  What He looks for are men who would walk righteously, desiring, always to be in constant agreement with His will however or whatever it may be for them to do for Him  This is God’s Criteria to inherit Eternal Life for SONS’ OF GOD WHOSE CONSENSUS WITH GOD IS THEIR FAITH IN GOD THE FATHER, which God expects to exceed the need of proof, by those who are called sons of God, with overwhelming evidence that their faith is in agreement with God.     Romans 8: 26-27    John 16: 13-15

THE SMOKE WAS THE EVIDENCE OF ISRAEL’S OBEDIENCE TO GIVE GOD ALL THE FAT OF THE SACRIFICE.

BAPTISM WITH HOLY SPIRIT IS THE FATHER’S CONSENSUS WITH THE BELIEVER WHO HAS AGREED WITH GOD BY GIVING THEMSELVES SACRIFICALLY TO GOD. THAT IS THEIR FAT.

NO BAPTISM          NO CONSENSUS        NO AGREEMENT WITH GOD        NO  FELLOWSHIP

Matthew 3: 11-12    John 1: 33    John 3: 16    Acts 20: 21    1 John 1: 3    1 Cor. 12: 3 –18

THE SACRIFICES

WHICH EXTENDED THE WORK OF THE BLOOD AND OF THE FAT OF THE TABERNACLE FOR ALL MEN TO ENTER IN WHERE NONE HAD ENTERED BEFORE.

THE NECESSITY OF THE CROSS

To appreciate the Fat that God would say is His, we must appreciate the value of sacrifice.

The first sacrifice was carried out by God Himself with the purpose of clothing Adam and Eve because of their disobedience to God, they had lost their spiritual covering.

Because of their disobedience God cursed all mankind, and heaven was closed to all mankind.

Romans 5: 12-14    John 3:13

Therefore sin entered the world through one man and Death through sin and in this way Death came to all men because all sinned.  Before the Law was given, sin was in the world but it was not taken into account, when there is no Law.  Nevertheless Death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by the breaking of a command, as did Adam who was the pattern of the one to come.

ADAM TO NOAH :

Man is cursed, Death and sin reign, sin not taken into account, heaven remains closed.

What was man’s hope?  Genesis 3: 22 God said man had become like God knowing Good and Evil

Genesis 4, the story of Cain and Abel confirm this.  Man was responsible to judge for themselves what was right or wrong.

Abel did what was right in God’s sight.  If Cain had given a lamb as his sacrifice, it would not have been accepted, because he did evil in his life.  Both lived with the knowledge of Good and Evil.  Because in God’s sight, THE SACRIFICE REPRESENTS THE GIVER.   1 John 3: 12

Just as Esau’s sacrifice was not accepted because he did that which was evil.

Men like Enoch who did right in God’s eyes were credited with righteousness and  when they died they were taken to Paradise BECAUSE HEAVEN WAS CLOSED AND REMAINED SO UNTIL JESUS ASCENDED  TO THE FATHER.    Matthew 27: 51-53     Hebrews 9: 24

Genesis 6: 1-8.   Men became evil by their own choosing and God decided that His Spirit would not contend with men and made their mortal years to 120 years.  He destroyed the living creatures and all mankind except those in the Ark.

It is after the Flood that it is noted that Noah built an altar and sacrificed a Burnt Offering whose smell pleased the LORD.

God made a Covenant with Noah in which  He decreed for all mankind to continue to be created in the Image of God which would be the only hope for mankind through the following dispensations, and would be the point of excuse as to the availability given by God to man to have the power to do right or wrong.  This will be the crux of God being justified in His judgment and condemnation of them.   Revelation 20: 11-15    Genesis 9: 5-6

God DEMANDED AN ACCOUNTING OF EVERY MAN.

He DEMANDED AN ACCOUNTING OF EVERY ANIMAL.

He DEMANDED THAT EVERY MAN BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR OTHERS.

BUT SIN WAS STILL NOT ACCOUNTABLE.

God established and confirmed the fact that a sacrifice represented a man and this was highlighted by God in His Covenant with Noah by the demand that all animals used in sacrifice to God representing man were to be accounted for.  This established the coming act of God who would give His sacrifice, the one we know as Jesus, as His Lamb, who would die in His place, in order for Him to fulfill His obligations to His Covenant of Genesis 9: 5-6.

Acts 20: 28     John 1: 29

For God to revoke His own Word regarding the curse on all mankind, to deliver him from the Death Realm and to open heaven required God Himself to create a Covenant agreement by calling men to shed blood by His command in order that He could justifiably place Himself in a position of obligation to man to shed His blood because He was the One who had caused them to shed blood.  This was His agreement: His plan which could fulfill His purposes by Jesus as ‘The Lamb of God who would take away the sins of the world’.

BECAUSE IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ANY MAN to shed his blood for all men’s redemption, from the curse and its effects, God devised this plan that He would be called to shed His blood WHICH WAS THE ONLY WAY GOD COULD REVOKE HIS OWN WORD.

Psalm 49: 78   Genesis 9: 5-6

BUT IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD TO SHED HIS BLOOD.  He used what He had established in order to carry out the redemption of mankind.  JESUS WOULD BE HIS LAMB - HIS STAND IN, and be the last actual physical sacrifice of shedding blood to God.  Man would have to answer to “God’s shed blood” by His Lamb, which was His obligation to those who had shed blood in spite of the fact that they were the initial cause of all this trouble.  God’s shed blood, by His Lamb, still calls for all men to give themselves to God, seen as shedding their blood, which is obligatory, to the Father to give Eternal Life.  Obligation means to justify, or to be justified.

Many of the sacrifices carried out in Genesis held prophetic pictures of God’s Plan of redemption for all mankind, they illuminated the stipulations and the regulations of the sacrifices of Leviticus which in time would be fulfilled at the cross.

Genesis 15:6-21    Isaiah 53: 10    Romans 8: 3    John 1: 29    Acts 20: 28     Romans 3: 25

Colossians 1: 19-23     Romans 6: 1-12     John 3: 16     Matthew 7: 21-23

Genesis 22: 8 reveals prophetically just how that this would happen by God Himself providing a Lamb

which  illuminates His Covenant with Noah for all mankind.

THIS IS GOD’S CRITERIA FOR THE BLOOD OF THE SACRIFICE.

From Abel to Jacob sin was still not being accounted for but the sacrifices were.

Genesis 35: 14

THEN CAME MOSES.   SIN WAS MADE ACCOUNTABLE, because the sacrifice had become precise.  The many types and works of sacrifice were fulfilled at the cross.  They were full of meaning for those who would know the blessings of deliverance out of Death and the Power of Sin, forgiveness of all sin and entrance into the kingdom of heaven, and be housed in Ezekiel’s spiritual Temple.

Leviticus Chaps. 1-7    Romans 6:3-14    Colossians 2: 9-13     Matthew 13: 47-50

Ephesians 2: 6    Ephesians 2: 18-22     Ezekiel Chaps 40-47

All sacrifices in the ordered Levitical sacrificial system were seen as holy by God, so much so that if they could be eaten it must not be outside the Tabernacle Court, which  gave meaning, purpose and understanding to Jesus’ words when he spoke of his death saying ‘take eat, this is my body’, because he was the Guilt offering, as God’s Lamb.  This sacrifice could be eaten ONLY because its blood WAS NOT TAKEN to the Tent of the Meeting, symbolic of God’s presence.

Now Jesus was also a sin offering, that declares that the sacrifice CAN NOT be eaten because its blood WAS TAKEN into the tent of the Meeting.  This same work applies in its completion for the New Testament believer because it fulfills Jesus’ work as our Sin Offering and whose blood was poured out.

In giving ourselves as living sacrifices in order to know Baptism with Holy Spirit, the sin offering becomes operative.  Jesus’ words in Luke 22, regarding the giving of his body and the poured blood of The New Covenant are the confirmation and example for a believer to do the same : to give themselves, as Jesus did, WHICH IS THE ONLY WAY WE CAN GAIN ENTRANCE TO THE FATHER’S PRESENCE. THIS IS WHAT JESUS MEANT WHEN HE CRIED OUT “IT IS FINISHED” because he, as our sin offering, gained entrance into God’s presence for us by the blood : whereas the blood of the guilt offering does not give entrance into God’s presence, but qualifies them to go on to do so.

By Jesus as the Guilt offering the BELIEVER CAN TAKE AND EAT.  They receive Christ’s spirit.

With Jesus as the Sin Offering the BELIEVER GIVES THEMSELVES AS THE SACRIFICE.  They do not eat.  They are Baptized with Holy Spirit by Christ.  This should give understanding of the Fat and why we are to give ourselves  to God.

If the blood can speak so strongly to the church, why can not the work of the Fat be heard?

Leviticus 4: 3-21 & 7: 1-9    Leviticus 6: 30    Matthew 26:26     Luke 22: 20    1 Peter 1: 2

Romans 12: 1-2    Galatians 4: 6    Romans 8:10-11    Colossians 1: 27-28    John 1: 29-33

Jesus, the Son of Man, as God’s Lamb, on the cross was God’ plan and necessity TO FULFILL HIS COVENANT AGREEMENT of Gen. 9: 5-6.  This enabled The Holy Ones of the Old Testament to be raised at Jesus’ death, by God removing them out of Paradise and Christ took them to heaven, because heaven was opened by the work of the blood.  They now sit with Christ in The Heavens, and are the Foundation Stone of The Temple because they gave God their Fat by their faith and obedience.  God saw all of them before the work of the cross.  He had promised them an ‘eternal city’ and in order to accomplish this He set out His plan and conditions by His own ‘word’ of Genesis 9: 5-6  and which continues to be viable for all those who would believe, until the fullness of God’s time.

The Holy Ones are still in waiting to enter The Eternal City, in order to enter together with those whom Christ will judge to inherit Eternal Life because they did the will of The Father.

John 17:17-19    John 1:29    Acts 20:28    Genesis 9:5-6    Leviticus 4: 31    Hebrews 9:15-16

Matthew 27: 51-53    Ephesians 4:7-10    John 3:16    John 3:13    Hebrews 9: 24    Ephesians 2: 6    Ephesians 5: 20    2 Corinthians 5: 10    Matthew 7: 21-23    Hebrews 11: 39 -40    13: 12-13

ALL IS SEEN AND SMELT

BY GOD.

God knew the Holy ones and accredited them with righteousness in His sight.  He saw their hearts as He did with those who heard His Son.

THE EVIDENCE OF THIS IS LEAD TRUTHS DROPPED BY JESUS and which spoke volumes of immediate fulfillment of God’s Promises.

THESE HAVE BEEN AS HEAVY TO UNDERSTAND AS IS THE FAT.

The words Jesus dropped like ‘lead Truths’ appeared to be against the ordinances of God.  His words in parables were very potent.  Every word  was given by God to say and it would be agreed that the Father is not One to use words for embellishment but to establish His intentions of which His claiming of all Fat, as to what that means must be remembered and obeyed.

****John 12: 47-50

Most of ‘the lead Truths’ that Jesus dropped upset the Pharisees and the Sadducees.  For instance concerning God’s Temple which Jesus said that he would build in three days of which we know he would be the Corner Stone, the Holy Ones its foundation, and into which those who would believe on the full work of the sacrifices, Christ would build them into it.

John 2: 12-24    1 Peter 4 -10     Ephesians 2: 18-22

The disciples were mystified when Jesus said they were to eat of his body and to drink his blood, which Jesus had already spoken about in the Synagogue at Capernaum by relating himself to being the Bread from heaven, the Bread of Life.

The listeners apparently did not understand what Jesus was meaning and many of his disciples left him, finding this too hard to believe, because Jesus had made this a condition of Eternal Life.  What understanding did they have of the sacrifices and their stipulations and regulations that were being carried out in their present temple?

John 6: 40  &  47-51  &  54      Matthew 26:26

Relating to himself as a sacrifice in which his blood would be ‘poured blood’ and ‘sprinkled blood’ speak volumes in relation to The Sacrifice that he was to be, a Guilt offering and a Sin Offering.  This was not generally understood nor appreciated any more than it is today.

Luke 22: 20    1 Peter 1:2

He spoke of subjects or servants of a Kingdom who were self satisfied in themselves believing  they were in God’s Kingdom, Abraham was their father yet they did not obey God’s commands an he would, compared to those called sons, because they would do the commands of Christ, given from God for man.

Matthew 8:12    John 15: 14-17    Romans 8: 17     Ezekiel 46: 16-18     John 14: 13-17

His Oneness with God, and words in relation to Spirit and Water which were in relation to the coming Promised Spirit of God the Father and God’s condition to see the Kingdom of God upset many.  The promised Spirit spoke of the Baptism with Holy Spirit that followed on from the words of John the Baptist that Christ would baptize with Holy Spirit and Fire.

John 7:37-39    John 3: 3-8    Hebrews 10: 22    Matthew 3: 11-12   John 1:29-34    Acts 2: 31-36

He spoke of himself as The Sacrificial Lamb, a Gate, the Good Shepherd and as the Door.

Ezekiel 46: 8-10      John 14:6     Luke 13: 22-30

Jesus spoke words but there are examples of his acting out the role of the Messiah which should have spoken volumes when the people waved palm branches and shouted recognition of Jesus as one who had come in the name of the Lord.    Jesus’ response was to get a donkey and to sit upon it.  This was a “lead truth’ which even the disciples did not recognize, but which the teachers of the Law should have, by knowing Zechariah 9:9  which says “ See your king is coming seated on a donkey colt.”

It was the use of the palm branches by the people in association with Jesus as the coming Messiah that should have been considered by them to be strong evidence by Jesus’ manner of entry into Jerusalem.

The palm branches were a fulfillment of an ongoing  prophetic statement of the Messiah and the Prince whose image was engraved on the temple walls with palm branches in profusion.  It is the Palm branches and the tree from which they grow, which can also be seen to describe the body of Christ and how that each individual who is placed in the Body is joined together.  The trunk of a palm tree reveals rings which mark for the total life of the tree just where each palm branch was incorporated into the life of the palm tree.  There are many varieties of palm trees, and all have the same feature.

It was the lack of the knowledge of God’s Prophecy regarding the Prince, the Messiah, revealed in Ezekiel’s spiritual temple that caused their blindness to Jesus’ dramatic entrance into Jerusalem on a donkey, with the accompanying palm branches.

Ezekiel 40: 16 & 31-37    Ezekiel 41: 17 -26      John 12: 12-16

The most weighty and unappreciated Truth of Jesus is that God is Spirit and His worshippers must worship in Spirit and in truth.  John 4: 21-23   This was prophetic of Ezekiel’s spiritual Temple where believers would worship not with physical altars etc. but a spiritual altar provided by God Himself.  This is The Father’s House where Jesus said that he was going to prepare a place for those who would believe.

Jesus words, as GOD’S WORD, were EMBLEMATIC OF THE EFFICIENCY BY WHICH  THEY  WERE TO PRODUCE WHAT GOD SAID WITH ALL SURITY AND DESIRED EFFECT AND THAT INCLUDES THE GIVING OF ONE’S FAT BY GIVING ONESELF AS A LIVING SACRIFICE, KNOWING THAT WE HAVE COME TO GOD BY HIS STIPULATIONS AND REGULATIONS OF THE NEW TESTAMENT DISPENSATION, CARRIED OUT BY JESUS AS GOD’S LAMB.

This is why Jesus said “The day is coming when those who worship God will worship Him, the Father, in Spirit and in Truth. They are the kind of worshippers the Father seeks.”

God lives in the Spirit Realm and so must His worshippers to WORSHIP IN SPIRIT AND IN God’s TRUTH being taught by God Himself, who is The Spirit of Truth, which is one of God’s seven Spirits by which He does His own work by His own Spirit.

THE SPIRITUAL TEMPLE

This is the PRESENT DAY SPIRITUAL TEMPLE, which is to be set forth by those who are in it.

All its Glory, which is not so much what it is like as an attraction but as to who is there within: God and His Son and what we know of their care which sets us spiritually apart from the world.

God and Christ by their spirits in and through us will bring, conviction of sin by the comparison of the unbelievers hopes and dreams to those of the believer who has confidence because of their real fellowship with God and Christ because of fulfilling God’s will and not theirs.

The Temple and ones place in it determines ‘Eternal Life and the hope of inheritance’.

Ezekiel Chps.40-47  Romans 8: 10-11   John 17: 3   1 John 2: 24-25   John 14: 23    Matthew 7: 21-23

In the description of Ezekiel’s Spiritual Temple we see the Courts which stand outside the Temple itself, in which are the Outer and the Inner Sanctuaries.  Its plan appears to be the same but there are spiritual differences, which have great meaning.

In it there is no gold, silver or brass but wooden doors, windows, tables and an altar and wooden walls with carved palm trees on them.  This is the Temple which is described in Ezekiel Chps  40-47   into which those who would believe to come the way of the cross and Baptism with Holy Spirit are placed, by God the Father.

The Courts contain the unbaptized.  The Sanctuaries are seen as the heavenlies which contain the Baptized who are free to go in and out of the Temple.  Matthew 13: 37-42 & 47-50

This is the Temple that Jesus spoke of that he would build, into which we are given access by Christ’s full work and built into as Living Stones, and Christ is the Cornerstone and the Holy Ones of the Old Testament are its Foundation.   John 2:12-24    1 Peter 2: 4-6    Ephesians 2: 18-24

This is where we are seen as Chosen People, the Church, the Elect, the Saints, a Royal Priesthood, a Nation belonging to God for the purpose of declaring the Praises of God who has called us out of Darkness into His Wonderful Light.  WE ARE A PEOPLE OF GOD WHO HAVE RECEIVED HIS MERCY.  We are those who have given ourselves as ‘living sacrifices’ spiritually shedding our blood, continually giving of what is ‘our fat’.

The Courts are where spiritual sacrifices are still providing for the work of the guilt offering and then the sin offering   These sacrifices are spiritual and not physical as they were in the Tabernacle.

Many believe that the sacrifice of Jesus has taken them straight from the cross into God’s Presence.  They will do this work but not at the same time.  He is, first, man’s Guilt Offering and then his Sin Offering which Ezekiel’s Temple reveals their progressive work and their extent.  The altar is where the Instantaneous Spiritual Process work is done, in the Inner Court,  that gives an Exit from the Courts and Entrance into The Temple.  It is here where our fat is given by us and where it is fired.

Matthew 3: 11-12

The Law of the Temple has been given to those who know it intimately: “their message to the world.”  Not foremost is the message of sin and wickedness, but they are to have described to them, THE TEMPLE.  Men are to be ashamed of their sin, upon hearing the description of the Temple.   They are to consider THE PLAN and then, if they are ashamed of all they have done, make known to them  THE DESIGN of the Temple, its arrangements, its EXITS and ENTRANCES, its whole design and all its regulations and Laws.  These are to be written down, so they can faithfully be followed and come first to Jesus Christ who will take the believer to the Father by the ordered processes of The Regulations and  Stipulations of sacrifice.

This is how men are to come to God today.

This will be the last Temple because God’s Word states that there is none in The Eternal Kingdom of God.   Revelation 21: 22

This is the Temple that is spoken of in Revelation 11:1 & 19    Rev.15: 8 – 16:1   that John saw where those who had been delivered from persecution on earth will be taken.  Revelation 7:9-17

This is the Temple which reveals to us Christ’s work and gives understanding of him, as one who was with God where we see his story in relation to man’s salvation engraved on its walls.  We see the face of a cherubim with two other faces, of a man and of a lion, which depict the fulfillment of him who was the Angel of the Lord, came as the Son of Man and will rule, as Christ and Lord on David’s Throne as the Lion of Judah and will hand all back to His Father at the very end.

Ezekiel 40: 3-4    John 1: 1    Ezekiel 41:17-20  &  44: 3  &  45: 3-16  &  46:1-18    Colossians1: 13-14   John 16:13-15    1 Corinthians 15: 22-28

CHRIST’S PROGRESSIVE WORK IN THE TEMPLE:

The Tabernacle spoke symbolically of what Christ would be and do, to bring mankind into God’s presence.

Ezekiel’s Spiritual Temple speaks fulfillment by revelation of what is Christ’s present work which was accomplished due to his exaltation as Christ and Lord.  This is where we gain understanding of what belongs to Christ given by God to do, and of what is his work now, which is apart from that of God the Father’s work but which by their works together produces the well-being of those who would believe.

In the Courts and the Temple Christ operates as the Prince under God’s Law of the Temple against Spiritual Prostitution and Idolatry.  As the Prince guards the Gates and the Doors of the Courts.  Here we see Christ is as the Door.  There are many rooms which in the Courts grow narrower as they are built up, whereas those in the Sanctuaries widen as they are built up.  Ezekiel 42: 5-9   41: 7

***The Courts are Christ’s present  spiritual kingdom for the unbaptized with Holy Spirit, which is not to be confused with his 1000 years reign kingdom

The inhabitants of the Courtyard are encouraged that when they come in by one Entrance gate, they are to go out by another, giving the picture of no turning back but to proceed.  The Prince is to be among them in their coming in and their going out.

He is to encourage those in the Courts to go to the Inner Court where the altar of Burnt Offering stands before the Entrance into the Outer Sanctuary. This is where the unbaptized are to PRESENT THEMSELVES WITH CHRIST THE PRINCE, where the believer is to know what God would have him give to God to please Him – HIS FAT.

The Prince brings the believer here.  He fulfills his promise to never leave nor forsake those who have come into the Courts by the Guilt Offering, until he brings them into The Inner Court to see the fulfillment of the sin offering.

Acts 2: 31-36    John 16: 13-16    John 5: 17    2 Corinthians 1: 1-13    Ezekiel 43: 6-12  &  44: 5    Ephesians 4: 5-6    Ezekiel 42: 5-9    41: 7    Matthew 13: 37-42    Colossians 1: 13-14    Ezekiel 45: 8-10    43: 13-17    Romans 6: 3-14    Colossians 2: 9-13    Matthew 3: 11-12    John 14: 13-17

THE SPIRITUAL COURTS ARE THE PLACE OF DECISION,

TO CHOOSE GOD’S OFFERING OF A WAY TO HIMSELF.

THE PLACE WHERE ONE DECIDES ABOUT THEIR FAT.

It is here that God has ordained the Prince to supply the Spiritual  Sin Offering and go WITH the believer to offer themselves as the Burnt Offering and the Grain Offering to fulfill the work of  Romans 6 : 3-14 and Colossians 2:9-13  to be baptized / BURIED INTO Death WITH CHRIST, IN ORDER TO BE RAISED OUT OF THE DEATH REALM  BY GOD and then to be baptized with Holy Spirit and Fire by Christ and then Baptized / placed by God into the spiritual body of Christ.  Entrance is given into the Outer Sanctuary and we become a Priest, a Son of God co-heir with Christ.

Spiritually we enter the Heavens, spiritually we enter the Sanctuaries where God’s Throne is.

*****But the Prince guards the door to the Inner Sanctuary, which to enter is to be the reward to those In Christ to go into where God’s Throne is.  This door is narrower than the door of the Outer Sanctuary.  Christ speaks of the Narrow Door which few will enter into.  This is that door of the inner sanctuary.

The condition of entering The Inner Sanctuary is not to be guilty of idolatry by hanging on to Jesus as if he were a peg, idolizing him as God.  This fault can only intensify unless the believer understands that their initial faith in Jesus as their Lamb and Baptizer with Holy Spirit is truly justified because it was Jesus’ work given by God to do in order to bring us to the Father.  However once baptized in God’s Spirit believing that God the Father is God alone the believer can deal with  idolatry and un-peg themselves from Jesus as God.  THEN  they will be given entrance by Christ into the Inner Sanctuary where and by whom they will be taught and share God’s Holy Offerings AND His Holy things which God will reveal by His own mouth as the Spirit of Truth.

*******************************************************************************

To continue in the idolatry of Jesus as God, is to divide the Body of Christ.  The Spiritual Body where all Baptized with Holy Spirit are placed by God and are to be one.

********************************************************************************

As priests and sons of God, our high priest is Christ.  They must be careful to remove their clothes of ministry when they enter the Courts so those in the Courts should see the difference of those who are in the Sanctuaries by exercising their knowledge and live the difference between the holy and the common, the clean and the unclean, the condemned and those not condemned.

Well known Pentecostal music ministries are an example of neglect in fulfilling their positions as Priests and sons of God.  By their songs and music they have spread like a great garment their spiritual position over on to the churches that are in disagreement with them, in regard to the Baptism with Holy Spirit in particular.  They give the assumption of a oneness with them by the error that Jesus is God, and the doctrinal differences, they do not see, to really matter.

Romans 8: 10-11   Colossians 1: 27-28   Romans 4: 7-8   Mark 16: 14-18

THE BURNT OFFERING: IS THE BELIEVER.

The Burnt Offering is a very particular Sacrifice.  Its work was incorporated with The Sin Offering and played out once a year on the Day of Atonement.  Leviticus 16:  This work continues spiritually to this very day, every time a believer would come to be Baptized with Holy Spirit.

Jesus as the ‘Sin Offering,’ the believer as the Burnt Offering and Grain Offering [the giving of oneself as a grain of wheat to be buried, in order to be raised.]

Like the Olympic Flame its fire, as of the Burnt Offering was never to go out   It is only in the work of this sacrifice that the total insides of the sacrifice was washed with water, which Hebrews 10: 22 gives understanding of this work. We are washed with Spirit Water not blood.

The head of the sacrifice was burnt its ashes were removed as being Holy, by the priest who must change into special clothes to do this.  The ashes were put at the side of the altar.  The R. and S. of this sacrifice, in burning the head is decidedly different from all other sacrifices in the dealing with the body of the animal.  All this is spiritually symbolic of  a ‘once and for all’ work for the believer when we give ourselves to God with our minds, that is our heads in full understanding of what we are doing and must continue to do, because our mind determines what “I am”.

As living sacrifices we are to renew our minds by doing the will of God.  The fire every morning was replenished with the Fat of the sacrifice.  The fire of the Spirit in us is never to go out and it is our commitment of ourselves, day by day, to God that speaks of the wood.  We are the wood who are to be refined as gold by God’s Fire.  Christ, the Son of God the Head of the church, is the refiner’s fire with eyes of Fire, to deal with those who would be ‘trees of righteousness’ as they grow.  Here, God Himself is the gardener, who prunes any unfruitfulness.

The Burnt Offering is the only sacrifice which receives the words, “This is accepted” This occurs spiritually for us when we are presented by Christ as a Burnt Offering.  The Father will declare by His Spirit, “Jesus is Lord,” when all is complete being raised out of the Death Realm and placed in Life by God, which is our certification as a Son of God, co-heirs with Christ, as they have seriously delivered their Fat.

Leviticus 16    Leviticus 1: 1-13    Hebrews 10: 22    Romans 12: 1-2    Matthew 3:11-12   Malachi 3: 2-3    1 Corinthians 12: 3    John 15: 26    Romans 8: 10-11    Colossians 1: 27-28   Revelation 2: 18    John 15: 1-8    Romans 4: 7-8

CHRIST THE PRINCE SHARES HIS INHERITANCE:        Ezekiel 46: 16-18

Those Christ Baptizes with God’s Spirit, are called Sons of God co-heirs with Christ.  The promise of inheritance however is given conditionally, to the sons of God and the potential sons of God, who are those who are as yet unbaptized with Holy Spirit.

The UNBAPTIZED in the Courts of the Temple have not given over to God what He wants that belongs to Him.  They will be denied inheritance, unless they come to gain deliverance from The Body of Sin because they are still in The Death Realm and therefore under condemnation, because of unbelief, or as with so many, ignorance.

If they fail to do this Christ’s Angels will deal with them, and God Himself will judge them.  There are many who will never leave the COURTS IF they continue to ignore Christ’s command to be Baptized with Holy Spirit.  They are forfeiting his work as Baptizer and also God’s promises.

Colossians 1: 23    Romans 6: 1-12    Colossians 1: 13-14    Matthew 13: 37-42    Romans 6: 6

Romans 8: 10 not 11    Colossians 1: 27 Not 28    Mark 16:14-18    Romans 4: 7 not 8

The BAPTIZED WITH HOLY SPIRIT, with their condition to inherit  ETERNAL LIFE CAN ONLY BE FULFILLED IN THE ETERNAL KINGDOM OF GOD IF ONE HAS DONE THE WILL OF GOD THE FATHER, AS JESUS DID.  Christ will judge them.  SONS OF GOD CO-HEIRS WITH CHRIST, PRIESTS OF GOD, who are to be kept cleansed and purified by confessing of sin and never to be partakers of  DELIBERATE, WILFUL ONGOING SIN, because ***The Guilt Offering The Sin Offering  BOTH WERE THE WORK OF THE CROSS.  And so to sin deliberately therefore is to sin as did Adam, and the Guilt and the Sin Offering are blasphemed.  That is why God has said that there is NO FURTHER SACRIFICE FOR THOSE WHO EXPECT CHRIST TO BE CRUCIFIED AGAIN.

We are to be over-comers to gain the promise of Eternal Life.  We are to be over-comers by God’s power, trusting in the Father as God and not Jesus as God to overcome, because the power given to overcome is by God Himself  and the authority for us to know this power of God is because of the work of Jesus.  This is why we proclaim our ‘Access Word’ of “In the name of Jesus”.

Revelation 2: 7 & 11 & 17 & 26-29    Rev. 3: 5    Rev. 11-12 & 21-22   Listen to what God says, to those of the church.

WE ARE TO GIVE OUR FAT FOR ALL GOD AND CHRIST’S WORK TO REMAIN IN US AND BE BUILT INTO US AS WE DO GOD’S WILL.  ANY REMISS OR FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH GOD’S ESTABLISHED LAW OF THE WAY FOR SALVATION THROUGH CHRIST, WILL KNOW GOD’S JUDGMENT AND THOSE IN THE SANCTUARIES THE JUDGMENT OF CHRIST.

WE MUST LEAVE IT HERE.

From God’s Throne flows the spiritual River in which those ‘In Christ’ WHO ARE IN THE SPIRITUAL BODY OF CHRIST are to enter.  They are the church, the elect, the saints and priests before God.  Christ is our High Priest.

This is the River that will continue to flow in God’s Eternal Kingdom.  We are to enter this River and proceed to go deeper and deeper into the knowledge of God the Father and fellowship with Him and with His Son.  As we do His will as Jesus did, God our Father is the answer to all our needs as healer, provider, protector, deliverer, comforter and teacher and revealer of His Truth

As we go deeper into His River we give Christ’s aroma to the Father, by not being selective in doing God’s will, we will know the full work of God the Father.  He will deposit in us, His Fullness, the Fruits of His Spirit and that of Christ, which shall remain to be seen as we are known at our judgment by Christ.  The river of God is not just to be observed, neither is it entered by ‘jumping into it.’  It is only entered by ‘Faith in God the Father as God alone’, as those who have fully committed themselves that is their Fat, to God, by and through God’s way of coming to Himself through and by Christ.

                             THE MEANING OF THE FAT:

In the sacrifice of the Old Testament the fat of the animal was not an organ but the cover of the organs, their protection, buffer zone.  All of this God wants to be for all mankind.  This can be viewed as the total answer as to what The Fat symbolized.  However one may wonder if that is the answer to the meaning of The Fat and why God wanted all of it given to Him.  It does not answer how do we give our Fat and what is our Fat, while we do understand that God wants to be ‘our cover’ and protector.  Does God want to take what is not good for us for our own good?   It is rather that what He gave to us we have made it partially inoperable, ie. The Image of God which He allowed to be created in all mankind.

One may question as to why there was the need study all of the sacrifices.  The reason for this is to gain - this understanding.

  1. That the sacrificial animal represented the man and God asked the man to symbolically give his fat by the fat of the animal.
  2. Jesus as the sacrifice for the sins of the world – as a man he gave his fat for God’s purposes.

Jesus sacrifice was done for God’s purposes and not for us individually.  Its work was efficacious but when applying this we are to understand that it was God’s plan of love and mercy for us who would believe, that Jesus’ sacrifice was in our stead.

  1. We are called to give our Fat of our sacrifice and in order to do this we must sacrifice  ourselves fully to God, as living sacrifices and go on shedding our blood, our Fat.
  2. The giving of our Fat is applicable to those who would come in faith through Jesus Christ,
  3. because Jesus was a Guilt Offering and Sin Offering and the stipulations and regulations of those sacrifices do apply and therefore we are to give our Fat spiritually to God.

THE GIVING OF THE FAT IS THE FINAL ACT, NOT, TO GIVE CLOSURE, BUT BY THE FIRE AND THE SPIRIT OF THE BAPTISM TO INDICATE CONTINUITY OF AN AROMA THAT IS PLEASING TO GOD.

                     WHAT IS OUR FAT?

It is the ‘I Am’ of a man; the self made man.  The ‘I am’ of man is what God asks of us.

What I am in my mind and in my heart, that is what I am.

It is of what God gave to man and allowed him after the flood to continue to be created ‘In the image of God’, being unique to mankind.

This has become polluted by man’s independence from God, being his own god in his life.  From the rich to the poor from male to female from slave to free man from Gentile to Jew.  All have sinned and come short of His glory.  Man’s righteousness is as filthy rags, yet God would call all mankind to give ourselves in order to know full redemption: to give us our own righteousness to be seen as holy and blameless.

Our Fat is our sense of well being, no matter or whatever the circumstances: it is the awareness of self and of the spiritual realm with the power to choose righteousness or unrighteousness.

It is the image of God in all men that was meant to enforce God in the man and lead to the consideration of the spiritual realms relating to the One true God, and eternal life.  This power renders mankind to be ‘without excuse’, as far as spiritual awareness of their need to be righteous and of impending judgment by God.

The ‘image of God’ in man, when taken over by the mind and heart of disobedient man, became the man’s self image.  The “I am” control.  The underlying power and control which goes against what God would say can be strengthened by the awareness of the spiritual realm, which can give ‘false leadings’ by false decisions, by false Spirits that establish a false authority apart from that of God.

Our Fat in us, is our security founded in our own solutions which God would say “give this to me”.  By offering our selves to God, we will manifest that which DOES BELONG TO GOD His Wisdom, not ours, His Truth, not our assumptions and imaginations.  To know what to touch or not, to go and to do when and how, to consent or to ignore, to praise or to condemn, to speak or to be silent, to understand from God’s thinking how to judge a matter and what is the Truth of the matter.  We are to know His direction and the supply of our finances our health and comfort in our sorrows.

We are to give to God our Fat, the image of God in us.  We are to walk in holiness and righteousness which He has reinstated to us by the work of the Guilt and the Sin Offering.

We are to know and ask of God the Father in all things, to treasure revelation of Himself and Christ, IN ORDER TO GIVE THE AROMA OF CHRIST WHO GAVE HIS FAT [ALL THAT HE WAS] TO HIS GOD AND FATHER.

Philippians 3: 10-12    Hebrews 5: 13-14    2 Corinthians 2 :14

NO FAT, NO SMOKE, NO AROMA.

Our Fat is my ‘I am’, which is to be given to God when WE HAVE FULFILLED GOD’S ORDER AND WAY OF COMING TO HIMSELF BY CHRIST AS THE WAY.

This is why God is emphatic about the Fat of the sacrifice being His, and why the giving of it is placed at the very end of the sacrifices regulations and stipulations and this is why we have to study the sacrifices in order to see that God requires OBEDIENCE TO HIS ORDER OF COMING TO HIMSELF IN ORDER TO GIVE OUR FAT.  HIS ORDER IS HIS WAY ONLY.

Anyone who would attempt to come to God without coming God’s way to Himself and believe they have given themselves to God without coming through Christ Jesus are in a state of delusion.

As God accredited the sacrificed animals as holy, how much more the man who comes to God Himself, according to His set order, giving his Fat to God because this is perfect obedience to God’s Law.

As already stated, the sacrifice at the cross declares two works, which are progressive and hold God’s  understanding of the mind and heart of man in that when God’s way is made known to the  believer he would say, “I WANT  FOR ME.”

It is in the second phase of the sacrifices of Jesus, the Sin Offering, that the believer will say,

“I WANT TO GIVE TO GOD” and make the step of Faith to go spiritually through “The Instantaneous Spiritual Process” which is carried out spiritually on the altar of Burnt sacrifice, where the Fat is given.

When the believers’ Fat as a living sacrifice, their “I” is fully given to God in accordance to the believers’ heart and mind in their knowledge of what they are and what God would want, is to be continual not to be seen as once given, but every day every circumstance every situation, in order that my ‘I’ is seen by God and ‘I’ am seen as one who has faith in God, fulfilling my obligation to the Father as a Son of God, BECAUSE I love Him and Christ.  Ephesians 5: 20    Colossians 1: 23

The Fat and its burning with smoke was the last act of the sacrifice and so it is to be with us, until the very end of our days :  to be seen and smelt continually as Christ, who will only grant Eternal Life to any Son of God if they have done the will of God His Father, which is only accredited by the continual giving of our Fat – which is ‘I’ to God.  This is our obligation as sons of God.

THE INNER HEART AND MIND.    Psalm 86: 11-13

Romans  Chap 7 displays the struggle;

Romans 8: 1-2  IS THE RESULT gaining no condemnation before God, by His and Christ’s work.

The power of the blood of any sacrifice to achieve its work before God, LIES IN THE MIND AND HEART OF THE GIVER.

If the believer’s heart and mind is not fully and wholly in belief and has no heart to love Jesus as a person, they will not obey his command to be baptized with Holy Spirit.

A SEEKING HEART AND MIND WILL BE KNOWN BY GOD, and He loves that,  because it will go on in knowing a peace the passes all understanding and fellowship with the Father and the Son; doing His will as Jesus did.

A heart and mind that lacks knowledge of who is God and is not obedient to Him nor His will is to take notice of how God deals with disobedience.

1 John 2: 24-25    John 15:1-17    1 Corinthians 13: 12    1 John 2: 15-17    1 John 1: 3    Matthew 7: 21-23    Romans 12: 1-2    Romans Chp.7    John 14 : 13-17    Romans 8: 1-2    John 17: 3    1 John 2: 24-25

NO FAT, NO SMOKE, BECAUSE GOD CANNOT BE SEEN IN DISOBEDIENCE.

THE FAT AND ITS ASSOCIATION WITH THE SACRIFICE DISPLAYS THE GOSPEL STORY.

THE BELIEVER AS A LIVING SACRIFICE:

In every sacrifice the heart of the believer is to be totally in it.  Jacob was a good example of this for us today, who would give ‘the fat’ of their sacrifice to God.  He hungered and thirsted after God.

The evidence of a true sacrifice is the continual giving of oneself to God.

Jacob, was his heart right?  Jacob is generally seen as dishonest and devious.   If this was the case, why did God bless him and through him create a history of God’s goodness to his sons out of which lineage came Jesus Christ?   Why did God bless him? : because God knew his heart.

So what have we generally missed?   Scripturally Jacob honored his parents, while Esau did not, which was revealed by his marriage to pagan women not realizing that this offended his parents who were God fearing.  Jacob at 40 years was unmarried because he knew of his parents’ Godly convictions.  Isaac favoured Esau and as he grew old he knew that he must pass the blessing of his Fathers on to his eldest son. Rebecca favoured Jacob and she devised a plan for Jacob to receive this which Jacob believed it to be deceitful, and feared to be cursed and not blessed by God.

However he did as his mother said and his father’s constant questioning of Jacob as he carried out his mother’s plan strengthens our understanding of Isaac’s discernment.  Esau had already sold his ‘birthright’ to Jacob, but desired his father’s blessing.  How true this is of many Christians today.

Any blessing given was not some religious set of words, and memorized but would be what

God would give Isaac to say.

God knew that it was Jacob, He knew Jacob’s heart was towards Himself and desired to gain His favor, which was not the heart of Esau who desired  to have all men’s favor as did  his father Isaac, by God’s decree.

It could appear that Rachel’s plan was unnecessary because the prophecies Isaac gave to Esau and to Jacob fitted WHAT GOD KNEW OF THEIR HEARTS.

Both prophecies have come to pass and the descendants of Jacob and Esau still hold centre stage in the International Stage of World Events.       Genesis 25: 23       27: 27-29

The confirmation of God’s favor and ultimately His purposes for Jacob and his descendants were joined by God’s Covenant with Noah and Abraham.

Jacob is shown a stairway to heaven: prophetic of an open heaven, with angels ascending and descending with the LORD standing above it.  God declared Himself to be the God of ‘Abraham and Isaac’.  He promised land to his descendants, all over the earth, which is prophetic of the Gospel for all mankind  He promised that He would be with him and watch over him wherever he went and would bring him back to his father’s land.  He would not leave Jacob until He had done what He had promised Jacob.  Jacob was afraid as he had not known this before.

He took the Stone he had placed under his head and set up as a pillar AND POURED OIL UPON THE TOP OF IT : A FELLOWSHIP OFFERING.

Jacob’s vow to trust the LORD as his God was based ON GOD’S PROMISE TO HIM.

The Stone that he set up as a pillar was prophetic of Christ as the Cornerstone of God’s House.

This is the House in which we live spiritually today in fellowship with God and Christ.

Jacob believed God’s promises, his heart was full of love for God.

God gave him a new name, with the promise of a nation and community of nations to come from him.  Jacob confirmed his belief by setting up a stone pillar where God had talked to him and he poured out a ‘Drink Offering’ on it and also oil, which spoke of fellowship and of Jacob’s sacrifice of himself to God.  God gave him a view of the Eternal City.  This was his hope.

We have received God’s Promises, and conditions to receive Eternal Life.  Spiritually we are to know His love and care, healing and deliverance, His provision and protection.   We are to know His voice in order to know His Will and by our obedience, we who are living stones in God’s Temple are being strengthened widened and built up to the glory of God and Christ.

Jacob trusted in the living God and His Promises just as we also are to do.  Knowing God our Father to be The Lord God Almighty, God alone, the One True God, to whom all praise is to be given : giving  Him our Fat to extend our spiritual positions which are to fulfil the total plan of God’s redemption for mankind.

Just as Jacob testified of God’s unfailing care and the help of The Angel of the Lord so do we, of our God and Father, in whose Spirit those In Christ  are : baptized into by Christ and Christ his Son whose Spirit lives in our spirit, given to us by God.  Because of their faithfulness to God’s plan and man’s faith in them they dwell in us in their fullness :God our Father, the Lord God, and Christ who was Jacob’s angel.
